Work We Turn Down
We work on the doors that show up on the houses actually built out here - mostly 2000s construction, torsion springs, steel and composite panels, chain and belt-drive openers from that era. What we don't do is chase down obsolete parts for a one-off custom door with a discontinued panel profile, or take on jobs that need a carpenter more than a garage door tech, like a rotted jamb or a header that's out of square. If your opener is a smart-home unit tied into a whole-house automation system, we'll fix the garage door side of it, but we're not going to troubleshoot your app or your Wi-Fi mesh.
We also won't quote a repair over the phone sight unseen when the symptoms suggest a bent track or a cracked panel section - those need eyes on them, because guessing wrong wastes your money and our trip. And if a door is old enough or damaged enough that a repair would cost most of what a new door runs, we'll say so instead of nickel-and-diming you through three visits. Turning down that kind of job is part of doing the other kind well.
Where We Travel
We're based in Prosper and most of our calls stay close, but we run out to the towns around it too. is about seven miles out around ten. and Oak Point all sit around eleven miles. is roughly twelve. Fairview run about fourteen miles each. Melissa are around fifteen. Parker, and Lucas sit near sixteen miles out. is about seventeen, Highland Village around eighteen nineteen, and Murphy caps the ring at about twenty miles.
That's the working radius. Inside it, we treat every call the same - same diagnosis, same parts stock on the truck, same answer whether it's a five-minute roller swap or a full torsion spring replacement. Past twenty miles, drive time starts eating into the day faster than it makes sense for either of us, and we'd rather point you to someone closer than have you wait longer than the job is worth.
